Michale Sutherland
Director

Michael has been a member of CAT, since 2005.  During that time, he has been able to share the stage with a number of very talented actors, directors, technicians and stage crew.  He was been seen in shows such as, Outlaw, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and Sadie Flynn Comes to Big Oak. He is also worked on the Sherlock Holmes series and is a member of Improv Jelly.  One of his most fulfilling roles was in “Nuts” which was produced by I.T.T. last spring. It has been a great honour to be able to work with the cast and crew of Cliffhanger. Enjoy the show.

Tammy Seaward
Stage Manager

Tammy is proud and excited to be joining the cast and production crew of Cliffhanger.  She is the Assistant Stage Manager for this production and is being mentored by Braden Guido.  She has been with CAT for just over 3 years and has worked backstage in several productions. She has also done some previous training in stage management.  Tammy lives in Red Deer and credits many CAT member’s passion in live theatre for getting her involved in CAT Theatre. She hopes that you enjoy the show.

Jaret Pack
as - Melvin McMullen

Jaret Pack (Melvin McMullen) is excited to be joining the cast of Cliffhanger for his first dinner theatre. He recently graduated from Lindsay Thurber last year, where he had the privilege of acting in multiple shows. He is most known for his roles as Riff and Action in West Side Story and Moonface Martin in Anything Goes. Jaret has also done improv throughout high school and is now a member of Improv Jelly for their upcoming season. He wishes to thank his family and friends for always supporting him and allowing him to chase his dream.

Cynthia Edwards
as - Edith Wilshire

Cynthia has had the good fortune to appear both on and off-stage in a number of

Central Alberta Theatre productions such as “Gladys” in Gladys in Wonderland, “Louise” in Wild Dust, and “Catherine” in Waiting for the Parade. She’s delighted to portray a character against type this time and she hopes you love to hate her, too. She gives her sincere thanks to everyone who helped bring this show to life – enjoy!

Bob Greig
as - Henry Lowenthal

Bob credits his wife, Genny, with turning him on to Central Alberta Theatre.  This was many years ago and he is still at it. During this span of years, he has been a bit of a “jack of all trades” having produced, directed, and acted in one act and dinner theatre plays.  He has also served as a light and sound technician along with backstage duties. Bob has performed in six CAT dinner shows, the most recent being Gladys In Wonderland where he played Mort, the angel of death.  Last fall Bob reprised the role of Karak in Innisfail Town Theatre’s presentation of A Bed Full of Foreigners. Bob is very pleased to have been cast in the role of Henry and hopes you will enjoy the show as much as we have enjoyed bringing it to you.

Liz Bennet
as - Polly Lowenthal

Liz Bennett, from Innisfail, is thrilled to be cast in the part of Polly Lowenthal.  Liz is also known for her role as Rose in “Nuts”, Trudy in “Social Security” and Leanne in “Trawling”.  She performed in the musicals “Air Raids & Siren Songs” and “Blood Brothers”. She went back to the stage after retiring from a long career as a dance instructor and choreographer.  She was trained in ballet, tap, jazz and highland. She studied classical piano and now sings with a ladies chorus group.

Ryan Mattila
as - Devito DeVito

Ryan is a 2008 graduate of the Red Deer College Theatre Program, where he performed the lead roles in both Hamlet and Little Shop Of Horrors. Since then he has been involved in several productions for Central Alberta Theatre including Evelyn Strange, and The Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes. Ryan is also a part of Improv Jelly, an improvisational group that performs on CAT's Nickle Studio stage. He has also been seen in several Ignition Theatre productions such as Dog Sees God: Confessions Of A Teenage Blockhead, Reasons To Be Pretty and It's A Wonderful Life.
