Buy A Seat Fundraising Campaign

Central Alberta Theatre is eager to invite you to participate in an exciting opportunity to show support in a meaningful way through our new Buy A Seat Fundraising Campaign. Celebrate the memory of a loved one, honour an arts lover, or promote your business or organization. These new, more comfortable chairs are already on their way, so now is your chance to help us make the Studio Theatre and our accessible auditorium seating options (for use beside wheelchair spaces) better for everyone.

You have the chance to “Buy A Seat” in the spotlight, and enjoy having your name, a sentiment, or the name of another person you wish to honour included on an elegant sign to be installed inside the black box Studio Theatre, so even if the chairs are stacked away, your contribution will be visible. The recognition guarantees that you or your loved one will be a visible part of Central Alberta Theatre for years to come.

Be serious or poetic, sentimental or clever. You can dedicate a seat:

· As an individual, couple, or family

· For your children, grandchildren, or parent

· In memory of a loved one

· With the name of your business or organization

· Marking a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion

· To honour a retiring employee

And what does this contribution cost? Just $100! Donations towards this fundraising campaign are 100% tax-deductible as CAT is a registered Canadian charity!

Please note that seat sponsors must still purchase tickets for any performance at Central Alberta Theatre. Our 60 new seats are moveable in our flexible black box theatre space, and this is a one-time opportunity.

With your purchase, you will receive one line of text that contains 25 characters (including spaces). A second line of text up to 25 characters can be added to the signage for an additional $25.

Before you click “continue to complete donation” there is an “Add a Dedication” link just above the button on the right side. Please enter the name or names you would like listed on the wall in the Dedication field.

Buying multiple seats? You may enter multiple names. ex. Buying 5 seats, enter 5 names.
